Vybz Kartel delivered the first of two sold-out nights at London’s O2 Arena, performing to 20,000 fans in one of the most significant dancehall events to ever take place in the UK.
The show was introduced by MC Nuffy, who appeared in an ivory Prada short-sleeved suit, accessorised with silver chains, a diamond watch and oversized sunglasses.
Kartel took the stage in a striking red Givenchy suit patterned with the brand’s lettering, paired with white sneakers and his signature Gaza medallion chain. He ran through a catalogue of hits that spanned his two-decade career.

The performance featured appearances from Wizkid, Ishawna and Shawn Storm. Wizkid kept his look relaxed in a white tank top, khaki trousers, layered silver chains, dark shades and a white cap. Ishawna wore a sheer black lace bodysuit, combining boldness with stage presence. Shawn Storm, Kartel’s long-time collaborator, made his second UK appearance following Wireless Festival.
The O2 Arena, located in London’s Greenwich Peninsula, is a major multi-purpose indoor venue that opened in 2007 within the former Millennium Dome. Sponsored by telecom company O2, it is the UK’s third-largest indoor arena by seating capacity, behind Co-op Live and Manchester Arena. Once the world’s busiest music arena (2008), it remains one of the largest buildings globally by volume, measuring 365 metres in diameter and 52 metres high. Commonly still referred to as “The Dome,” it stands as a landmark of modern entertainment in the UK.
Kartel is the first dancehall act to do back to back sold out shows at the venue.
