Rihanna Represents For Dancehall At Savage X Fenty Vol. 4 Show

Rihanna represented for dancehall at the fourth staging of her Savage x Fenty fashion show.

Although it was not announced previously, “Pull Up To My Bumper” by Konshens featuring J-Capri was part of the soundtrack for a scene in fashion’s most exciting show.

The track released in June 2013 has surpassed 20 million streams on YouTube.

J-Capri Jordan Phillips, died on December 4 2015 after she had been involved in a car crash. Following Capri’s death, then Dancehall Queen Lady Saw declared that she would no longer be doing dancehall music.

Also Included on the Savage Fenty Vol. 4 line up was African Giant Burna Boy who performed his RIAA Certified Gold his Last Last on top of a mountain wearing Savage Fenty.

In October WMV reported that Burna Boy’s summer hit “Last Last” sold more than 500,000 units in the U.S. The breakup anthem, which exploded after he first performed it at the Billboard Music Awards in May, samples Tony Braxton’s Darkchild produced “Wasn’t Man Enough.”

He will now earn RIAA certifications for songs from three (3) different Albums.

‘Ye’ from the album Outside (2018) was carried gold on May 3, 2021 and ‘On The Low’ from the album African Giant (2019) was certified gold earlier this year (April 26)

He is the First and Only African act to achieve this milestone.

Last Last, has also been certified Gold in the United Kingdom, and Platinum in Canada.

Rihanna’s high energy and glammed up fashion show premiered Nov. 9 on Prime Video. Other performances on year’s event include Anitta, Don Toliver and Maxwell. Notable appearances came from the controversial Johny Depp, Ángela Aguilar, Avani Gregg, Bella Poarch, Cara Delevingne, Damson Idris, Irina Shayk, Joan Smalls, Kornbread, Lara Stone, Lilly Singh, Marsai Martin, Precious Lee, Rickey Thompson, Jamaican-Hollywood actress Sheryl Lee Ralph, Simu Liu, Taraji P. Henson, Taylour Paige, Winston Duke, Zach Miko and more.

Rihanna’s new singles Born Again will be released at midnight (November 11.)
