Adele, 35 , reportedly surprised fans at her best friend Alan Carr’s comedy show in Los Angeles by announcing her secret marriage to 41 year old sports agent Rich Paul. Two audience members shared the news with celebrity gossip influencer Deuxmoi, describing the moment as “super cute” according to Sky News. One fan stated that when Carr asked if anyone had recently gotten married, Adele shouted, “I did!” The intimate setting had around 75 people, and Adele, who was sitting behind one of the contributors, seemed carefree, enjoying the show with her friend.
This revelation comes after the Rolling In The Deep singer first confirmed her relationship with Paul in September 2021. Despite rumors and speculation, she denied being married during an interview with Elle magazine in August of the following year. Adele has been vocal about her deep connection with Paul, expressing, “I’ve never been in love like this. I’m obsessed with him.”
Adele, who began her Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas in November 2022, recently announced additional performances at The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace, scheduled from January 19 to June 15, 2024. Adele’s friendship with Carr goes back years, and in 2018, she reportedly officiated Carr’s wedding to his now ex-husband in her Los Angeles backyard. The British singer’s 11x Platinum third studio album was released eight years ago on November 20, 2015.
Rich Paul, is the founder of Klutch Sports Group, a management company representing top basketball stars such as LeBron James. Sky News has reached out to Adele, Paul, and Carr for comments on the reported marriage.
