A!MS Shoots to the Top as Masicka, Valiant & Squash Shuffle in YouTube Jamaica Rankings

Jamaica’s YouTube charts big headline? A!MS links up with UK rapper ArrDee and find his second chart topper with “Need Somebody” leaping six spots to secure No. 1 with over 302,000 streams locally. Somebody clearly needed somebody, and the whole island pressed replay or had not choice but to play the YouTube ad in between the TikTok elections and Jai Frais Podcast.

Meanwhile, jaame.sss and Skatta Lopa’s “Beloved and Blessed (Reggae Version)” slipped to No. 2, which feels unfair because being beloved and blessed should guarantee eternal chart safety. But nope—YouTube don’t care about your blessings.

Masicka’s “Rich Sex” dipped one spot to No. 3. Maybe the algorithm realized the rest of us are still on “Broke Budget.” Meanwhile, Valiant continues to chauffeur vibes with “Passenger Princess” parked comfortably at No. 4, clearly refusing to pay for gas but enjoying the ride.

The highest debut comes from Jamal with “Motivate,” landing at No. 5. Big respect, Jamal—you’re out here motivating streams like a morning motivational speaker with Wi-Fi.

But here’s the real tea: Squash’s “Status” lost more points than a drunk at dominoes, tumbling five spots to No. 8 after shedding a jaw-dropping 54,000 streams. Status? It’s complicated.

And let’s not forget the fresh blood: DJ MAC slides in at No. 10 with “People Change” (facts), engee dadon enters at No. 14 with “Dancehall Jealousy” (more facts), and Silk Boss graces the list at No. 15 with “Brown Man” (no comment).

Somewhere in the middle, Chronic Law continues his weekly lease on this chart with two songs hanging on—“NY Girls” at No. 13 and “Blicky” at No. 20. Man has more consistency than curried chicken on a Sunday.
