Every great artist needs a birthday anthem, and rapper BIA just delivered one with “Birthday Behavior,” her new collaboration with Puerto Rican star Young Miko. Released August 15 across streaming platforms, the track is already shaping up as a must-add to party playlists.

BIA teased the music video on social media with the caption: “Blow the cake it’s my birthday 🎂💜” alongside behind-the-scenes photos of her in full celebration mode.

A Long-Awaited Link-Up

The collaboration has been years in the making. Miko first expressed interest in working with BIA back in 2022, and “Birthday Behavior” finally brings their worlds together. The production lineup is stacked, featuring TBHits, Edgar Barrera, Theron Theron, Lil Rich, and legendary producer Mike Dean.

On the track, BIA paints a picture of luxury birthday rituals—Casa Azul bottles, private jets—while Miko switches the vibe, spitting in Spanish about courting a woman who only showed up with her “face card.” The result is a slick, low-key club record with crossover appeal.

BIA has been stacking wins this year. Her single “WE ON GO” landed on the NCAA Women’s Final Four soundtrack and was performed during WNBA All-Star Weekend in Indiana. She also secured two placements on the upcoming Madden NFL 26 soundtrack, further cementing her presence in sports and gaming culture.

Miko has been equally active. In April, she dropped “WASSUP,” sampling Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop.” She also featured on the remix of KATSEYE’s viral single “Gabriela” and contributed to the soundtrack of Netflix’s Arcane—one of the streaming giant’s most successful series.
