The top six positions on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart remain unchanged this week, with Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and The Wailers continuing its reign at No. 1 for the week ending August 31, 2024, marking 242 weeks at the top.
Sean Paul’s Dutty Classics holds steady at No. 2, followed by Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection at No. 3. Meanwhile, Stick Figure’s albums World on Fire, Set in Stone, and Wisdom secure the No. 4, 5, and 6 spots, respectively.
Notably, Spice’s third studio album, Mirror 25, which debuted at No. 7 last week, has fallen off the chart, making way for UB40’s UB45 to climb to No. 7.
Mirror 25 also exists the Reggae iTunes chart top 100 albums after one week. The album spent six days at No.1, following a similar chart pattern of her last album Emancipated which exited both charts in a similar time frame in 2022. The album distributed by Empire is charting on Apple Music currently at No. 17 in Saint Kitts and Nevis, No. 25 in Jamaica, No. 70 in Antigua and Barbuda, and No. 99 in the Cayman Islands. Spice recently surpassed 1 billion views on her YouTube channel. The second woman in Jamaican to achieve the milestone following Shenseea a few weeks ago.
Burial Ground by Stick Figure re-enters the chart at No. 9, while Courage to Grow by Rebelution moves up to No. 8, and Endless Summer by The Elovators returns to the chart at No. 10.
