Korean girl group BLACKPINK joins Fifth Harmony as the only girl group with two songs surpassing 800 million streams on Spotify. Their latest song to surpass the mark is the chart-topping hit “Kill This Love” cementing their status as the sole K-pop female act with two songs surpassing this mark.
Their other smash hit “How You Like That” produced by TEDDY has exceeded a staggering 1 billion streams.
Fifth Harmony’s “Worth It” featuring Kid Ink and “Work from Home” featuring Ty Dolla $ign has surpassed 802 million and 1.4 billion respectively. BLACKPINK has 12 billion Spotify streams across their catalog. Of that amount 11.7 billion lead acts, and 900 million as featured acts.Â
The group’s album “BORN PINK” has climbed the ranks on Spotify, as the third most streamed studio album by a female group, amassing an impressive 2.4 billion streams. Surpassing Fifth Harmony’s “7/27,” which stands at 2.3 billion streams, the album further solidifies BLACKPINK’s prominence in the industry. Notably, BLACKPINK holds the top position for the most streamed studio album on Spotify with “The Album,” boasting an impressive 3.33 billion streams.
Meanwhile on the heels of the latest achievement, BLACKPINK’s Lisa celebrated her 27th birthday with a special Q&A video on her label’s Lloud YouTube channel.
