Exodus, the album Bob Marley made after an assassination attempt was made on December 3, 1976 re-enters the Reggae Billboard chart at No. 3.

This, his 10th album, received gold certifications in the US, UK and Canada. In 2017, Exodus was remastered and re-released for its 40th anniversary.

Exodus was given Greatest Album of the Century by Time in 2000.

The album’s re-entry follows Pirates Of The Caribbean actor Johny Depp‘s 2 week old print display of Marley, Hunter S Thompson, a writer and actors Heath Ledger and River Phoenix who Depp says has been his inspiration.

Johnny Depp

As the jury announced that they have reached a verdict in the defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, where he was awarded $15 million, Depp was seen on social media singing Bob Marley and The Wailers’1976 hit “War”.

Bob Marley’s “War” first appeared on Bob Marley and the Wailers’ 1976 Island Records album, Rastaman Vibration, the album that came before Exodus and is Marley’s only top 10 album in the USA.
