Box-office Beyoncé Wraps Renaissance Tour, It Is Now Highest Grossing Tour By A Woman

Beyoncé made history in August by earning a staggering $179 million, setting a new monthly Boxscore record.

Her Renaissance World Tour has come to a close and it becomes the highest-grossing tour ever by a woman in Boxscore archives.

This achievement follows her record-breaking July performance, where she earned $127.6 million, narrowly surpassing Bad Bunny’s $123.7 million from the previous September.

For greater context Elton John holds the record for the highest grossing tour of all time with $939.1 MILLION. He did that with 330 shows, 9 Legs, from September 2018 to July 2023.

Beyoncé is now the 7th highest grossing tour of all time with $579 MILLION. She did so with 56 show, 2 legs, in Europe and North America from May 2023 to October 2023.

That is a $360 million difference and Elton had 5 times more shows.

Beyoncé’s 14 shows in August attracted 697,000 fans, and her three-night stint at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium grossed $39.8 million, ranking among the top 10 grossing headline engagements ever in North America.

Overall, the Renaissance World Tour now stands at $461.3 million and is set to cross the $500 million mark before concluding on October 1. Beyoncé’s tour has not only broken financial records but also attendance records, with 2.247 million tickets sold, making it her best-selling tour to date.
