Burna Boy Announces Historic North American Tour, Kicking Off in Los Angeles!

Global Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy has announced a 15 date North American tour beginning with performance for the first time on November 3 at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, California. He will then head over other cities like Houston, Chicago and Toronto before ending March 9, 2024 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.

The historic multi city tour announcement comes after Burna Boy’s “I Told Them…” peaked at No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart for one week and surpasses 100 million streams on Spotify. His 2022 album Love, Damini has surpassed 900 million, a first for any African album.

He is the first African to to a stadium tour in the US however it seems the African Giant will not be performing in New York this time around. Last year he became the first African solo headliner to sell out Madison Square Garden two nights in a row. He follows the footsteps of Afropop singer Miriam Makeba who performed at Madison Square Garden for JFK’s birthday celebration in 1967.

In July this year, he became the first ever African to sell out a stadium show in the U.S. The African Giant headlined Citi Field, home to the New York Mets as he closed out the final show in the , Love, Damini, tour.

SZA, Busta Rhymes and other Hip Hop stars were in the hour to witness event while British rapper Dave joined him onstage for their collaboration, “Location.”

The “I Told Them… Tour” is being presented by Live Nation and pre-sale tickets are already available. General tickets will be available Friday at Ticketmaster.com.
