Tickets for the upcoming Burna Boy “Love, Damini” concerts in Trinidad, Jamaica and Antigua have been on sale for less than a week and already tier 1 for some categories are sold out.
Duke, promoter of the tri-island December 16-18 events posted on his Instagram on Tuesday that tier 1 tickets in al categories for the Trinidad show are now sold out.
A check by WMV on the website for the Jamaican tickets found that tier 1 VIP tickets are all gone.
Burna Boy is the first African artist to headline a stadium in Jamaica and the second African to headline a main event following Nelson Mandela’s 24 hour visit to the island in July 1991.
The National Stadium is Jamaica’s premiere sporting venue which holds just over 27,000 persons seated for football matches and Athletic championships. With an already overwhelming demand for tickets to see Burna Boy Live, it is expected to house over 40,000 people.
