Burna Boy‘s “Alone” has surpassed sales and streams equivalent units of 200,000 in the United Kingdom, earning a Silver certification by the British Phonographic Industry on January 12, 2024. The track which was released as part of the album “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – Music From and Inspired By” Previously, attained Gold status in France after reaching 15 million digital streams in September 2023.
Released in November 2022 through Roc Nation Records/Def Jam Recordings/Hollywood Records, the album also features collaborations with African artists such as Rema, Ckay, Tems, Fireboy DML, DBN Gogo, Sino Msolo, Kamo Mphela, Young Stunna, and Busiswa.
“Alone” peaked at No. 28 on the UK Official charts.
Burna Boy also picked up another Silver certification from the British Phonographic Industry for his collaboration with British rapper Mist titled “Rollin‘.” The song was certified on January 12, but published January 19 for sales and streams of 200,000 as measured by the Official Charts Company.
