Burna Boy – “I Told Them…” Climbs To No 1 In Jamaica And 54 Other Countries On Apple Music

Burna Boy’s 7th studio album, “I Told Them…,” released on August 24, 2023, is currently No. 1 in 55 countries including Jamaica, the U.K. and U.A.E on Apple Music. The album features a star-studded lineup of international stars such as 21 Savage, Dave, Seyi Vibez, J. Cole, GZA and RZA of the Wu-Tang Clan, and Byron Messia.

Only 2 other African albums have ever peaked at No. 1 on Apple Music in more than 50 countries at the same time and they Beth belong to the Ye Ye singer.  “Love, Damini” peaked at No. 1 in 69 countries,  “Twice As Tall” in 59 countries.

 

Still on Apple Music Jamaica: At No. 2. is Beyoncé’s “RENAISSANCE.”

After peaking at No. 1 and staying there for the last two weeks, Travis Scott’s “UTOPIA” remains a crowd favorite in the island at number three. Known for his genre-blending tracks, he’s keeping the vibes fresh.

The longest running album on Apple Music Jamaica top ten Masicka’s “438” takes the fifth spot today, delivering some of the finest dancehall rhythms on the island.

6. Victoria Monét – “JAGUAR II” (NEW)

8. Armanii – “Nostalgic” (NEW)

Armanii’s “Nostalgic” makes its debut at number eight, bringing a nostalgic twist to the island’s music scene.

Drake and 21 Savage’s collaboration “Her Loss” holds its ground at number twelve, showcasing the power of rap and hip-hop.

13. Dave & Central Cee – “Split Decision – EP” (-4)

Dave and Central Cee’s “Split Decision – EP” slips to thirteen, but it still packs a punch with its thought-provoking tracks.

14. Gunna – “a Gift & a Curse” (+5)

Gunna’s “a Gift & a Curse” surges to number fourteen, delivering a captivating mix of rap and trap.

15. Chris Brown – “Indigo (Extended)” (+42)

Chris Brown will be live in Jamaica August 27, 2023 for his ‘Under The Influence’ Tour

Chris Brown’s “Indigo (Extended)” makes a remarkable jump to fifteen, showcasing his enduring popularity in Jamaica ahead of his August 22 “Under The Influence” concert.

16. Drake – “Views” (+10)

Drake’s “Views” climbs to number sixteen, proving that his music continues to resonate with fans.
