Cam’ron and Ma$e have responded to threats made by J. Prince over their criticism of boxer Shakur Stevenson.

This past weekend, the founder of Rap-A-Lot Records, J. Prince, stepped into the fray between the Harlem rappers and the New Jersey boxer, warning that he “will fade all [Stevenson’s] shots and take all bets.” This declaration came after Cam’ron and Ma$e had labeled Stevenson’s recent world title defense against Artem Harutyunyan as “boring.”

On the July 15 episode of their sports talk show, It Is What It Is, Cam’ron and Ma$e refused to back down. “You gon’ take all his fades and take all his shots? Alright, so then we talking to you then. Since you the big homie, we starting with you,” Ma$e began, making it clear they would not be intimidated.

“When you dealing with older people, they’re the last to know that things have changed. We not your lil’ n-ggas. All that big homie stuff, that’s for little n-ggas. We’re not little n-ggas so we don’t even respect big homies! I know Killa doesn’t, and for me? I never respected n-ggas in the streets,” Ma$e added, criticizing J. Prince for attempting to fight Stevenson’s battles.

Ma$e further revealed that he had recently had a positive FaceTime conversation with J. Prince through Kanye West, making Prince’s aggressive stance even more perplexing and disrespectful to him.

Cam’ron also chimed in, questioning J. Prince’s selective enforcement of respect, particularly in the context of his relationship with Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s past criticisms. Cam’ron expressed his loss of respect for J. Prince, especially recalling past incidents involving NBA YoungBoy, where Prince’s involvement had already diminished his standing.

“You 60, n-gga! What is you talking about?! Bro, I lost mad respect for you. ‘Cause I used to have mad respect for you,” Cam’ron lamented. He criticized J. Prince’s approach and questioned why Prince felt he could dictate their commentary.

The origin of this conflict traces back to Cam’ron and Ma$e’s negative remarks about Stevenson’s performance in his latest fight. Stevenson retaliated with a social media rant, challenging the rappers to “glove up or shut up,” which prompted Cam’ron to threaten Stevenson in return.

The ongoing dispute has drawn significant attention, with fans and observers taking sides in the public fallout. As both parties stand their ground, it remains to be seen how this intense exchange will evolve.

Shakur has a twitter rant last week saying that Ma$e had an unsuccessful rap carer among other things.
