Chris Brown Responds To Antisemitism Accusations “I’m A Puri Not Muslim Or Jewish” With A Call For Peace

Chris Brown has found himself at the center of controversy regarding accusations of antisemitism after Brown  was seen dancing to Kanye West’s latest track featuring Ty Dolla $ign, titled “Vultures” on Instagram. The controversy arises from a specific lyric in the song where West raps, “How I’m antisemitic? I just fcked a Jewish btch.” The 11:11 singer, who accompanied West on a recent trip to Dubai, has since taken to social media to address the allegations and assert his stance.

The Grammy-winning artist started by sharing a since-deleted post on his Instagram Story, captured by The Neighborhood Talk, stating, “LET ME MAKE THIS PERFECTLY CLEAR BEFORE YALL TRY TO USE ME AS A PAWN… IMA PIRU, I AINT MUSLIM OR JEWISH so don’t start no sht wont be no sht!!! IM TRYING TO BE PEACEFUL BUT PLEASE DO NOT WAKE UP THE DEMON IN ME! GO ON ABOUT YOUR F*CKING DAY.”

In another post that remains on his page, Brown doubled down on his position, declaring, “IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM AM I ANTISEMETIC!!! IM PRO LIFE AND I MAKE MUSIC FOR THE ENTIRE WORLD! !! !! ! So please do Not get tricked into thinking I spread hate or am kool with it!” He further addressed the issue in a similar post on his Instagram Story, emphasizing, “This is for the millions of young kids that look up to and may be confused.” Brown’s response indicates his desire to set the record straight and make his stance against hate clear.

The controversy surrounding “Vultures” is not the first time Kanye West has faced accusations of antisemitism. In 2022, West received widespread condemnation for various offensive remarks, leading to the termination of business partnerships with major brands such as Adidas, Gap, and Balenciaga which caused him to lose 1.5 billion from his net worth.

As the situation unfolds, fans and critics alike will be keeping a close eye on Chris Brown’s actions and statements. In the world of hip-hop, where artists often use their platforms to express themselves, addressing such sensitive topics is crucial. Brown’s call for peace and clarification is a notable attempt to navigate the complexities of the situation, and it remains to be seen how the music community and the public will respond.

Several persons in the comment section of a post made by a Jewish businesswoman have moved Ye for the controversial lyrics

“Let the record industry chew on this. Let them never EVER work again,” one comments on the post stated. “He’s just mad at Jews because Kim’s lawyer is Jewish and he gotta pay $270,000 a month in child support,” another user chimed in and another woman said, Does anyone know how to block certain artists from Spotify? Don’t want to give them one cent!” in response to the video.
