“Colors Of Royal” by Julian Marley and producer Alexx Antaeus has entered the the top ten of the Reggae iTunes chart. The album reaches a new peak of No. 6 following its Best Reggae Album win at this year’s Grammy Awards.
This is Antaeus’ first project to reach the milestone.
Julian took to Instagram to thank is fans on Monday saying, “its a very incredible honor to receive an award,” and going on to explain why he was not able to attend the 66th Annual Grammy Awards to collection this trophy.
At the top of the Reggae iTunes chart is his father Bob Marley’s compilation album “Legend,” taking up two spaces at No. 1 and No. 3. At No. 2 is “Exodus” (Bonus Track Version).
“I Am Chippy,” the debut EP by Warner Recording artist Teejay, is at No. 4 after peaking at No. 1 on Friday.
On Sunday, “Legend: The Best Of Bob Marley and The Wailers” surged to No. 3 on the US iTunes chart (all genres), and the album extends its record at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae chart for 213 non-consecutive weeks on the Billboard Reggae albums chart dated February 10.
“Welcome To Jamrock” by Damian Marley, “Gold,” a compilation album by Bob Marley, and “Duty Rock” by Sean Paul have all re-entered the Billboard Reggae chart at No. 10, 9, and 5 respectively.
“Best Of Shaggy: Boombastic Collection” is at No. 2, and “Dutty Classics” by Sean Paul is at No. 3.
UB40’s “Greatest Hits” is at No. 5, and Stick Figure’s “World On Fire,” “Set In Stone,” and “Wisdom” are at No. 6, 7, and 8.
Masicka’s “Generation Of King” has exited the chart after spending seven weeks since its December 8 release
In Jamaica on Apple Music, Shenseea, Masicka & Di Genius’ “Hit & Run” spends 11 days at No. 1 and Masicka’s “Generation Of Kings” album spends 2 months at No. 1 in the Island. “Hit & Run” also spends 11 days at No. 1 on YouTube in Jamaica.
