Ding Dong has reached a career milestone with his dancehall anthem “Bad Man Forward Bad Man Pull Up” surpassing 10 million streams on Spotify.

The high-energy dance floor hit, released in 2006 on the Bad Man Fawud riddim helped propel Ding Dong’s career into the global spotlight. A remix of the song featuring Skillibeng will be on Ding Dong’s debut album titled “From DING DONG to WORLD DING,” set for release on May 2, 2025. The entertainer, who rose to fame as a dancer from Nannyville Kingston, Jamaica before becoming a hit-making recording artist, shared the news in a heartfelt Instagram post, reflecting on his journey and growth in music.

“Wow I’m excited to announce my very first album ‘from DING DONG to WORLD DING’ dropping (5.2.25),” he wrote. “Took me a while to get here but with GOD I’m here and nothing happens before the time….”

The project promises to be a full expression of Ding Dong’s evolution—from the streets of Passa Passa to the global stage. “This album is to show my growth in my artistry and how much I’ve evolved from a dancer to an artist… I’ve put a lot in this album, the vibes, the energy, the diversity and production came together magically to make this so special and I hope y’all love it as I do,” he continued.

The album’s lead single “Jump” featuring Skeng reminiscent of Kriss Kross’s 1992 track of the same name has trended top 10 in Jamaica on YouTube.

Known for other viral hits like “Fling,”(8.7 million streams) and “Bounce,” Ding Dong has built a strong catalogue and brand based on energy, authenticity, and dancehall pride. With over 73 million total streams on Spotify, he also expressed gratitude to his supporters, saying, “Bigup to my team and everyone that’s apart of this journey I appreciate u.” In a nod to his roots, he added, “Yeah man from PASSA PASSA till now never skip di line or use nuh side door! Mi hold mi own and mi proud a myself‼️”

As of April 2025, the Ravers Clavers frontman has accumulated over 57.3 million streams from tracks where he is the lead artist. His solo catalog—excluding features—has pulled in 29.7 million streams, while collaborations and features have earned him an additional 15.7 million.
