British-Jamaican artist and producer DJ Paradise is making a bold return with his most powerful project to date — a global reggae album rooted in love, unity, and peace. Paradise revealed that the project, which drops this August, is both a tribute to reggae’s activist spirit and a legacy move that involves the next generation of conscious music.

“It’s a global peace initiative,” DJ Paradise said. “With everything happening in the world — wars, missing children — I just felt like we needed something like this right now. I’m not the first to do it. Bob Marley, Burning Spear, they paved the way. But this year really feels like the year to bring it forward again.”

At the heart of the project is a standout collaboration with Queen Ifrica, known globally for her socially conscious lyrics and fearless activism. The two connected through mutual respect and a shared purpose.

“She got it straight away,” he said. “She didn’t hesitate. She’s been on this wave before. The track she’s on is called Everyone Wants Love — and that says it all. Right now, the world needs love more than ever.”

The album also introduces DJ Paradise’s daughter, Alexis Paradise, marking her official entry into music. While the track remains under wraps, the proud father confirmed her voice adds something special to the record. “She’s got a great voice. And I thought, why not bring her in on something meaningful — a legacy project,” he said. “This is her roots. Reggae will ground her.”

With a tracklist of 10 to 12 songs, the album features a mix of veteran musicians and promising new voices, all lending their talents to the cause. DJ Paradise emphasized that the goal isn’t just about music, but mobilizing action. He plans to align the project with international peace organizations like UNICEF and the United Nations, and will be launching charity fundraisers alongside the release.

“This is a unity project,” he said. “If you’re an activist out there who believes in peace, get in touch. We’re building something bigger than a record. More hands make us stronger.”

Among his personal inspirations for the album, Paradise named Bob Marley, Michael Jackson, and Tupac Shakur, describing them as artists who used music as a tool for change. “Michael was the archangel of music. Tupac, to me, was a prophet. I think a project like this is something he would’ve been proud of.”

The album is set for release in August 2025, with Paradise hinting at Emancipation Day as a symbolic launch date. All songs will be available on streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music, with donation links and further information available through his label’s website: PPD Music Group.

As for what fans can expect?

“Music with purpose,” DJ Paradise said. “Music that brings people together. And music that reminds the world — everyone wants love.”
