Drake songs leaked last week

Drake is the No. 1 most streamed artist in Jamaica for three years in a row on Spotify for 2023 according to data supplied exclusively to WMV by the streaming company on Wednesday November 29. The “First Person Shooter” artist who dropped his eighth studio album “For All The Dogs” in September leads the pack along with 7 other dancehall artist to make up the top ten. Unlike last year, Spotify says the company does not break down the Wrapped 2023 by genre.

This year Sza is one of two North American R&B singers on the list and the only woman to make the top 10 coming in at No. 4.

At No. 2 is newcomer Valiant, followed by Vybz Kartel retiring to the No. 3 position. Chronic Law moves up to No. 5 ( #10 last year), Skeng is at No. 6 (down from 2 last year). The Weeknd is back on Year-End chart at No. 7(down from 5 last year), Alkaline is at No. 8 (down from 6 last year), Bayka makes the year-end chart for the first time at No. 9 and Masicka round out the chart at No. 10 (down from 4 last year).

Malie Donn, Valiant

Malie Donn’s “V6” produced by Ireland Boss is the No. 1 most streamed song on Spotify in Jamaica for 2023 according to data supplied exclusively to WMV.

Speaking exclusively with Ireland Boss on Wednesday, WMV informed the producer of his latest achievement and he was elated to hear the numbers as he counted up the streams from other platforms. “It’s over 10 million on Spotify and over 10 million on Apple Music and x amount on YouTube. There are also other uses who who uploaded and we will claim”

“We were offered lots of deals, we been in negotiation for two months, back and forth with sub-labels of Sony Music reached out, person from Warner reached out, Island Records reached out and we were back and forth and it wasn’t just a one deal,” the producer added.

Ireland real name David Ireland said there was one deal he would have taken, but it fell through. “I was more interested in taking a deal that was offered to us by Mixtape Madness and it doesn’t consist of me giving them the masters,” he said.

The budding music entrepreneur said, “They (Mixtape Madness) wanted to do a remix of V6 and wanted to put 50,000 pounds and add Digga D, Byron and Stefflon Don, but my lawyers were saying we want more and they committed 100,000 pounds and for some reason they say they are not doing it,” he added.

Now he said, he is happy he did no go with the deal before amidst the song ongoing independent success. “I know even now V6 has a lot of juice in it,” he concluded.
