Drake, also haas a new reason to celebrates with his hit “Take Care,” featuring Rihanna certified 3x Platinum.
James Brown, the Godfather of Soul, joins the list with a Brit Silver certification for his classic “Soul Power Pt 1 & 2.” This anthem has influenced generations and stands as a testament to the enduring power of his music.
“Damages,” by Tems earns a Silver certification and so did Kendrick Lamar’s “Duckworth,” for sales surpassing 200,000 units.
The list of BritCertified albums and singles for October 4, 2024 also includes Sam Smith’s album In The Lonely Hour reaching an astounding 10x Platinum certification, for sales and streams surpassing 6 million units. Meanwhile, Lewis Capaldi’s Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent hits Platinum status (600,000)
Classic tracks such as Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama” and AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long” have reached 3x Platinum and 2x Platinum certifications, respectively.
