Rising Jamaican dancehall artist Armanii has officially inked a deal with UnitedMasters, the independent music distribution platform own by advertising exec Steve Stoute known for championing artist ownership and creative freedom.
The deal was confirmed on Tuesday by LaTrice Burnette EVP and Head of Music at UnitedMasters.
Armanii, who has been turning heads with his modern take on dancehall culture, now joins a roster that includes international stars like Brent Faiyaz, Tobe Nwigwe and NLE Choppa.
His breakout single Hard (Fiesta) produced by DJ Mac charted for three weeks on the Jamaica YouTube Chart.
Armanii’s single 8:00 pm featuring Mallie Don is currently having an impressive chart run across the Caribbean, holding the No. 1 position on Apple Music in 12 countries, including Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Barbados, The Bahamas, and Grenada. He maintains Top 5 positions in nearly 20 territories with the single 7:00.
His third studio album NO SIGNAL is also climbing, charting at No. 6 in St. Lucia, No. 10 in Antigua and Barbuda, No. 24 in Jamaica, and No. 73 in Trinidad and Tobago.
UnitedMasters, founded by former Sony Music executive Steve Stoute, has become a game-changer for independent artists since its launch in 2017. The platform offers distribution to major streaming services, data analytics, brand partnerships, and creative services—all while allowing artists to retain ownership of their masters. It’s part of a growing shift in the music industry where artists are demanding transparency, flexibility, and direct-to-fan relationships.
The company previously released Spice’s sophomore album Emancipated which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.
