Fans Say ‘War Just Start’ As Stefflon Don Returns With “Dead Gyal Talking” Aimed At Jada Kingdom

Fans have declared that the war is still on as the UK Dancehall artist Stefflon Don returns with a new clash song aimed at Jada Kingdom as fans declared kingdom the winner two days ago. This time Stefflon addressed all of the alleged lies Jada spewed on her track on “Dead Gyal Talking.”

In the song she classed Kingdom in a lyrical exercise letting her know she is the superior talent and throwing in that she can’t diss her mother while bragging about her numerous accomplishments, “how you fi diss the Don madda, 16 shots send it up innah yuh bladda” she blasts among other disconcerting things.

At the same time her last last diss track “Dead Gyal Walking” has climbs to No. 2 on Apple Music Jamaica charts, moving up five places. While Kingdom’s diss track London Bed moves down three spots to No. 5.

Online spectators are now saying the war is now hot and even at 2:2 between the two talented dancehall artists.

Another person tweeted, “War just start now,” and another said, “Say what you want BUT, she knows how to write a decent war song you have to give her that.”

And another person tweeted “1 thing this clash has taught me is Stefflon Don badda dan nuff male artist a road.”

In the UK, the Stefflon Don spends a fifth with on the UK Official singles chart with her Chase and Status’ collaboration ‘Selecta.’  She is the only dancehall artist currently on the chart. The song which was first teased to audiences at Glastonbury in 2022, comes in at No. 81 this week moving down from 76 last week. The song released on November 10, 2023 is second single from their album “2Ruff Vol 1” and it peaked at No. 27 on the UK chart.

‘Selecta’ is the second single from Chase and Status’ “2 Ruff Vol.1” album that boasts ten tracks of spine-tingling Drum & Bass, featuring collaborations with some of the hottest names in UK Music , including Bou, Hedex, ArrDee, Kwengface, Mist, and more.

The first track from “2 Ruff, Vol.1” – ‘Baddadan’ – emerged as the biggest underground dancehall hit last year, a collaborative effort with Bou featuring Irah, Flowdan, Trigga, and Takura that is already certified Gold as of December 15, 2023. Earlier in the year, Chase & Status’ single with Becky Hill, ‘Disconnect,’ also achieved success, spending weeks in the UK Top 10. With ‘Liquor & Cigarettes’ not far behind in the Top 20, the duo continues to make waves.
