Andrew Bustamante, a former CIA agent, says Diddy is a liar. Speaking on the Lisa Bilyeu podcast, Andrew offers an in-depth analysis of Diddy’s handling of the abuse allegations against him, making strong claims about Diddy’s dishonesty.

Bustamante begins by unequivocally stating his observations, “Clearly Diddy is lying. Without a doubt he’s lying.”According to Bustamante, Diddy’s legal team is focused on consistency, yet Diddy undermines this strategy by admitting to some level of abuse.

“You can even empirically conclude that he’s going to lie because he has a team of attorneys, and what are those attorneys all saying? They’re all saying that what he needs to do is remain consistent because attorneys know how this works,” Bustamante says.

Bustamante further explains: “So by seeing Diddy go back and forth, enough is enough. But then he also comes out, and he’s like, well, I did actually do that bit of abuse because it was my all-time low point. That was when I hit rock bottom. So he gave a reason to why he did it, but he’s breaking that consistency.”

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs issued a public apology on Instagram following the release of a 2016 video showing him physically assaulting his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. In the post, Combs expressed deep regret, calling his behavior inexcusable and stating he sought therapy and rehab afterward. He stated that he takes full responsibility for his actions and is committed to becoming a better person.

The video, released by CNN, shows Combs assaulting Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel. While the statute of limitations has expired, preventing legal action, Ventura’s attorney praised her bravery. Ventura had previously filed a $30 million lawsuit against Combs, alleging years of physical and sexual abuse during their relationship. The lawsuit was settled soon after being filed, with Combs denying the allegations and stating the settlement did not admit wrongdoing.

Combs is also facing other civil lawsuits and a federal indictment related to sexual assault claims, which he continues to deny.

Bustamante explains how Diddy’s inconsistent statements make the public distrust him. “So the fact that we see the inconsistency is a big part of what makes this story so interesting to the public because he’s violating consistency, which immediately makes you distrust him because you’re like, well, you said that you didn’t do it. Now you’re saying that you did do it. Which one is it, buddy?”

Diddy’s admission of some wrongdoing not only creates confusion but opens the door for more questions Bustamante says: “We have to assess based on the information, he has lied in the past. He will most likely lie again in the future, and he is being coached to lie because he is being coached to remain consistent by his team of attorneys. That’s just natural evolution of things, right?”

Bustamante then points to the volume of testimonies against Diddy. “Look at the time element of this. I mean, some of these accusations go all the way back to the mid to late nineties. So over time, you’ve had multiple witnesses with multiple stories.” These stories, according to Bustamante, have “unique and different” elements, but share certain themes: “Drugging is a theme. Sex is a theme. Large social parties is a theme. Short temper is a theme, right?” …That video that happened in the hotel that was recorded in the past came out in the present. It’s rock-solid evidence to show there’s inconsistency over time.”

Silence would have been a better strategy for Diddy, Bustamante states: ” A very good attorney team or a very good litigation team for him — let him know, like hey, the best thing to do is just stay quiet.” Drawing on his CIA background he says: “Do you know why you never hear CIA defend itself? Because they already know you’re going to forget. Once you defend yourself, you bring credibility to the accusation.” He notes that successful influencers use a similar approach: “One of the things that I think the best influencers online do and that I try to emulate is people attack the best influencers all the time. They attack them with all sorts of things, and the best influencers don’t respond. They don’t react.” Bustamante sees value in this approach, saying, “Because they know that 2 things: by not reacting, they’re not validating the claim, and 2, there will always be people who want to attack. So professionally trained, you let them attack, and you ignore their attacks, and you recognize that them attacking a wall is gonna either bore them over time, or it’s gonna turn into more people who are attacking.”
