Dancehall artist Govana’s sophomore album, “Legacy,” has garnered chart placements across multiple Caribbean countries. On Apple Music, it currently holds the number one spot in Jamaica for ten days, since it was release on June 28, 2024.
The album distributed by Ineffable Records, charts in Dominica (#2), Antigua and Barbuda (#3), and Grenada (#4). Additionally, it has secured top five positions in Saint Kitts and Nevis (#4), while maintaining strong placements in other regions such as Trinidad and Tobago (#16) and the British Virgin Islands (#18).
“Legacy” peaked at No. 1 on the US Reggae Albums chart but missed the weekly top 10 Billboard Reggae Albums chart selling less than 1000 units combined in streams and sales in the US.
“Four Storey” from the 12 track set reaches #20 on Apple Music in Jamaica and performing well in several other Caribbean nations. The track is currently #1 on YouTube in Jamaica, highlighting its massive streaming success. It also ranks within the top 100 on Apple Music in Dominica (#22), Saint Kitts and Nevis (#61), Antigua and Barbuda (#66), St. Vincent and The Grenadines (#76), and Grenada (#83).
While “Pull Over,” has reached #37 in Jamaica and holds positions in Saint Kitts and Nevis (#30), Dominica (#41), Cayman Islands (#50), Antigua and Barbuda (#53), and Grenada (#96) on Apple Music. On iTunes, it has reached an impressive #13 in Dominica, further showcasing its appeal.
“Saved by a Psalm” featuring Popcaan is yet another track from “Legacy” that is resonating with listeners charting on Apple Music in Dominica (#18), Grenada (#28), Saint Kitts and Nevis (#39), Jamaica (#41), and the British Virgin Islands (#64). The song’s powerful message and melodic appeal have clearly struck a chord across the region.

The other feature acts on the project include Mavado (Earth a Hell), Skeng (Dat Mi Seh) Aidonia (Walmartt) and Jada Kingdom (Pull Over). The latter surpassing 600,000 streams on Spotify.
Prior to the release of his album, Govana featured on the song Open The Door in 2018 by Spanish singer Bad Gyal featuring DJ Papis. The song has surpassed 8 million views on YouTube.
It his highest streaming song on Spotify surpassing 14 million streams. His other top song is Likely with Ruger released in 2023, which has surpassed 500,000 streams.
