Grammy-Winning Artist Kid Cudi Announces Memoir ‘CUDI By Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi’

Kid Cudi has exciting news for his fans as he reveals plans to release a memoir that promises to inspire readers to pursue their dreams. The Grammy-winning artist shared the announcement on X (formerly Twitter), expressing his eagerness to share his journey to stardom in the upcoming book titled “CUDI By Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi.” Anticipated for a September release next year, the memoir delves into various aspects of his life, including moments, people, aging, fun, madness, and darkness, offering readers a glimpse into the beautiful rollercoaster ride of his experiences.

In his social media post, Kid Cudi conveyed that reflecting on his life brought him immense peace, and he believes the memoir will encourage readers to live life to the fullest, pursue their dreams diligently, and maintain a close connection with faith. He expressed gratitude for the support he received through the ups and downs, emphasizing the unwavering presence of God.

“My memoir is called CUDI By Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi My hope is to drop it next year around Sept. Goin thru my life and the journey its been so far is bringing me so much peace just talkin about certain things and how they made me feel. Moments, people, aging, the fun, the madness, the darkness, such a beautiful ride. I know this book will inspire you to live your life to the fullest every chance you get, reach for your dreams and work hard to bring them to reality, and keep God close. Because thru all the ups and downs Hes the one thats never left you alone.”

Kid Kudi tweeted.

 

He said his  hope is that after fans read the memoir, they’ll “have the confidence to bet on themselves, and strive to live life as a better human on this planet and spread love.”

The memoir announcement coincides with Kid Cudi’s recent revelation about his involvement in the animated monster movie “Slime,” marking his debut as a star and producer under Jeron Braxtonan’s direction. The film, co-produced by Cudi’s Mad Solar production company, follows the journey of Muna, an optimistic young woman with newfound powers after a mysterious medical trial. Cudi’s character, Glenn, becomes her unlikely ally as they embark on an adventurous quest for a cure.

In a statement, Kid Cudi expressed his commitment to exploring new frontiers in entertainment, citing Braxton as a creative powerhouse at the forefront of culture. Braxton, known for his work pushing boundaries, shared his excitement about using horror and cutting-edge technology to elevate animation and shed light on issues affecting the black diaspora.

This announcement follows Kid Cudi’s previous venture into animation with the Netflix special “Entergalactic” in 2022, a collaboration with Kenya Barris that earned him an Emmy nomination which was accompanied by its own album. As he continues to diversify his artistic pursuits, Kid Cudi remains dedicated to pushing boundaries and creating innovative experiences for his audience.
