The Recording Academy has announced the nominees for Best Reggae Album at the upcoming 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards, set for February 1, 2026, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

The 2026 eligibility period ran from August 31, 2024, to August 30, 2025. This year marks second-time nominationsfor both Kartel and Royal, while Lila Iké, Keznamdi, and Mortimer earn their first-ever GRAMMY nods.
Kartel’s Heart & Soul features collaborations with Ishawna, while Royal’s No Place Like Home includes features with Yohan Marley, Kabaka Pyramid, and Romain Virgo. Lila Iké’s Treasure Self Love—released via Ineffable Records—boasts guest appearances by Joey Bada$$, Masicka, and H.E.R. Keznamdi’s BLXXD & FYAH and Mortimer’s From Within further round out the diverse mix of contemporary and roots reggae.
The Best Reggae Album category recognizes excellence across reggae’s many styles, including roots, dancehall, and ska, for projects with over 75% new recordings. Final-round voting runs from December 12, 2025, to January 5, 2026, with winners announced live during the televised ceremony.
Last year’s award went to Bob Marley: One Love – Music Inspired By The Film.
