Four time Grammy nominated rapper Gunna‘s 4th studio album “a Gift & a Curse” is currently No. 1 in Jamaica on Apple Music. The 15 track set follows his 2022 Billboard No. 1 project DS4EVER and is his first album following his racketing conviction.
The Atlantic Records artist whose real name is Sergio Giavanni Kitchens along with 28 other defendants were charged in a 56 count indictment in Fulton County, Georgia plead guilty to a single charge of racketeering. He was sentence to 5 years in prison with one year commuted to time served and the remaining time to be a suspended subject to probation conditions, including 500 hours of community service.
Gunna was released the same day but many of his cronies and label mates are still facing a grand jury indictment for their association with the “Young Slime Life” or “YSL” record label for conspiring to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, murder, armed robbery and participation in criminal street gang activity

According to the 88 page indictment, Prosecutors alleged that, “YSL is a criminal street gang that started in late 2012 in the Cleveland Avenue area of Atlanta. YSL claims affiliation with the national Bloods gang.”
Young Thug is specifically accused of renting 2014 Infiniti Q50 sedan from Hertz , which was used in the commission of the murder of Donovan Thomas, Jr., a rival gang member, on 1-10-15, according to indictment.
