As YOUNG Thug made his first appearance in court after being arrested on Monday, Gunna had still not surrendered to authorities.
Young Thug, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, and Gunna real name Sergio Kitchens with 26 other defendants were named in a 56-count indictment on Monday in Georgia.
Fulton County DA Fani Willis said that the Young Thug is a “top offender” who needs to be taken off the streets.
The indictment is against members and associates of Young Slime Life, also known as “YSL” include charges of conspiring to violate the RICO Act, murder, armed robbery, and participation in criminal street gang activity.
Atlanta Police Chief Rodney Bryant will held a press conference to discuss the indictment against the rappers on Tuesday. Gunna has since turned himself in.

The DA echoes the sentiments of the Gov. Brian Kemp who has promised to get tough on gangs as the election year campaign gets into focus. DA Fani Willis says “gangs are conservatibvely responsible for 75%-80% of violent crimes in Fulton county.
Violent crime was a topical issue in Atlanta’s mayoral race last year.
