HarbourView Equity Partners, a prominent alternative asset management company, announced on Wednesday (August 14) its acquisition of select producer royalties and music publishing assets from Grammy Award-winning record producer and songwriter Noel Zancanella.
Zancanella, widely recognized for his prolific contributions to rock, pop, and hip-hop, has made a significant mark in the music industry. His collaborations with OneRepublic’s frontman, Ryan Tedder, have produced global hits, and his work with artists like Maroon 5, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Adele, and the Smashing Pumpkins has further solidified his reputation as a top-tier producer. Among his notable achievements are the chart-topping songs “I Lived,” “Good Life,” and “West Coast” by OneRepublic, “Ghost” by Ella Henderson, and “Maps” by Maroon 5.
HarbourView Equity Partners, known for its multi-strategy investment approach, continues to strengthen its presence in the entertainment and media sectors with this latest acquisition. The firm’s portfolio already includes YouTube’s most viewed song “Despacito” by Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee which recently surpassed 8.5 billion views.

Derek Crownover, Megan Pekar, and Rob Kouchoukos of Loeb & Loeb served as legal counsel to HarbourView in this transaction, while Noel Zancanella was represented by J. Reid Hunter, David Gold, and Andrew Dunn of Serling Rooks Hunter McKoy Worob & Averill. The terms of the transaction remain undisclosed.
