New York, NY – June 26, 2025
On the 31st day of the federal trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs, Assistant U.S. Attorney Jessica Slavik delivered a searing closing argument, labeling the music mogul as the leader of a sprawling criminal organization built on violence, coercion, and sex trafficking.
“We’re not talking about someone who doesn’t take no for an answer,” Slavik declared. “We’re talking about someone who kidnaps. Who traffics. Who bribes. Who burns. Who buys silence.”
According to Slavik, Combs knowingly ran what the government has dubbed the Combs Enterprise, supported by a loyal inner circle including his chief of staff, personal assistants, bodyguards, and alleged drug runners. Witness testimony, text messages, and seized materials allegedly support a litany of crimes: distribution of drugs, firearms violations, forced labor, sex trafficking, and multiple instances of physical abuse.
THE “FREAK OFFS” AND DRUG NETWORK
Prosecutors outlined a detailed map of drug use and trafficking, identifying controlled substances including cocaine, meth, ketamine, MDMA (Ecstasy), GHB, Tusi, and mushrooms—reportedly supplied and distributed through Combs’ associates. His former assistant KK, described as his “right brain,” was said to have coordinated drug pickups, managed communications with girlfriends, and gave dosing instructions to victims experiencing bad comedowns.
Brendan Paul, a former Combs staffer, reportedly admitted to making $100,000 a year, while KK earned six times that. Paul also allegedly requested drugs for “personal Gucci items”—a known code for narcotics. According to Slavik, “It doesn’t matter if he wasn’t selling kilos. Distribution does not require a sale.”
ALLEGATIONS OF SEXUAL ABUSE AND TRAFFICKING
Slavik focused heavily on the experiences of “Cassie” and “Jane,” two of Combs’ accusers. She recounted an alleged 2016 incident where Combs dragged Cassie back to a hotel after she attempted to escape, and another in 2024 when he allegedly choked Jane during a private gathering. “He gave her drugs, he hit her, she ran. She couldn’t get away,” Slavik said.
According to testimony, Combs stomped on Cassie’s face, leaving her disfigured. She was reportedly hidden away at the London Hotel on Sunset Boulevard to prevent her from being seen by her mother or the public.
RICO CASE AT THE CORE
The government’s case hinges on Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) charges, with AUSA Slavik emphasizing that just two predicate acts—such as drug distribution and kidnapping—are sufficient for conviction. The prosecution alleges more than two, with ample evidence from messages, witness accounts, and search seizures.
Among the names cited in connection with the criminal enterprise: D-Roc, Bonds, Rube, Faheem, Uncle Paulie, and Guido—many said to be armed, involved in distribution, or part of what prosecutors called “a kingdom” serving Combs’ personal and criminal desires.
“We’re not just talking about fame gone wrong,” Slavik said. “We’re talking about a pattern, a system, a criminal enterprise.”
