I Found A Girl by British Boy Band The Vamps featuring Jamaican singer Omi is now certified Silver in the U.K. for selling more than 200,000 units in that country according to the British Phonographic Industry. The certification which is Omi’s second Silver record and the pop band’s 11th was made on Friday April 21, 2023 with sales and stream data measure by The Official Charts Company.
The song which details the experience of a man falling in love with “a girl who is in love with a girl” and “she is not into guys” was released on April 1, 2016 as the third single from their second studio album “Wake Up” released in 2015. Omi never appeared in the music video which has surpassed 36 million YouTube views but The Vamps group members Brad Simpson, James Brittain-McVey, Connor Ball and Tristan Evans go in search an a girl pop group.
Omi is one of the top ten most streamed artist on Pandora with his singles Hula Hoop and Cheerleader racking up up massive numbers week. Hula Hoop hit 100 million streams on YouTube last April and at the time the singer returned to to instagram to celebrate the milestone.

His most successful single Cheerleader, was a massive worldwide hit when the remixed version by German DJ Felix Jaehn dropped and took the world by storm going straight to No. 1 in several countries in eluding the Billboard Hot 100.
With over 18 million records sold worldwide, Omi told WMV he is now a free agent.
