The City of Miramar is gearing up for a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration in collaboration with Commissioner Maxwell B. Chambers and the legendary reggae band Inner Circle. Miramar will host a free New Year’s Eve event, Under the Stars Block Party, at the Miramar Regional Park. The event, which promises an evening of music, food, and festivities, will take place on December 31 from 8:00 PM to 12:30 AM.
The celebration will feature a lineup of acclaimed talent, including reggae icon Richie Stephens and the high-energy Visions Band. South Florida’s top DJs, Waggy T and DJ Fergy, will ensure the music keeps the crowd moving throughout the night. Adding to the excitement are contests like the Best Dressed Couple and the Wobble Dance Contest, with cash prizes up for grabs. Food trucks, giveaways, and activities for all ages will create a vibrant atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy.
The event will be hosted by Donovan Campbell, a familiar face in South Florida as a charismatic news anchor. Leading up to the big night, on Sunday December 29, there will be an official NYE Under The Stars kick-off block party featuring Richie Stephens, Nadine Sutherland and Ian Lewis, leader of Inner Circle. That even will be held at 15531 Sheridan St., Davie Florida.
