The first week numbers are in for Grammy nominated singer Jah Cure‘s 9th studio album “Undeniable.” The VP Records project has sold 200 album equivalent units in the U.S. according to Billboard Sales tracker Luminate. The album produced by Swedish producer Hamed ”K-One” Pirouzpanah sold 100 pure album copies and earned 185,000 on-demand streams since its February 17, 2023 release.
The 11 track set peaked in the top 5 on the Reggae iTunes chart and is not set to make the Billboard chart to 10 to be released on Tuesday.

He told World A Reggae that on his next album he will tell his side of the story. “My side of the story will be my next album project.”
The Samo directed music video for the album’s lead single “Everything” featuring Stonebwoy has so far earned 227k views on YouTube after 10 days of its release.
Jah Cure, whose real name is Siccature Alcock was unable to tour the U.S. and U.K due to his previous convictions for rape and weapons charges. Still his 2015 album The Cure peaked at No. 1 on the U.S Billboard reggae chart and spent 3 consecutive weeks on the top spot. That album landed at No. 2 on Rob Kenner’s 10 Best Reggae albums of 2015. That album also got him a Grammy nomination.
His other Billboard chart topper is “Royal Soldier” released in August 2019.
As reggae expands its marketplace, last September Stick Figure’s “Wisdom” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart
Stick Figure’s 7th full length studio album Wisdom overtook Bob Marley & The Wailers’ “Best Of” album Legend, which was enjoying 140 weeks streak at the top. “Wisdom” sold album equivalent 13,900 units from sales and streaming in the United States during its first week of release on September 9 via Ruffwood Records.
This includes 9,700 copies in pure album sales, and 5.5 million from streaming in the US, according to our sources at Luminate(formerly Neilson/MRC Data.
Including “Wisdom’s” pre-released tracks, the album has so far sold 34,900 units in total (including 32.3 million streams), over its lifetime as of September 15, 2022.
Wisdom has also debuted on the Billboard Independent Albums chart at No. 6, and Stick Figure has entered the Billboard Artists 100 chart at No. 43.
Other reggae-dancehall top album sellers of the year were Masicka, Shenseea and Koffee having the top streaming album released last yer.
