Reggae singer Gramps Morgan says he is adopting a positive mindset as it relates to President Donald Trump’s tenure as the 47th President of the United States.
The Nashiville Tennessee resident posted on Instagram moments of the inauguration saying: “The people have spoken Pray for the Prosperity of America @realdonaldtrump Congratulations and looking Forward to the Golden Age. #positivemindset.”
One person commented in response to the Grammy award winner’s post saying: “Gramps I’m too pro black for this so I guess I’ll unfollow.”
Gramps quickly followed up aight another post dedicated to Martin Luther King saying, “Never forget the vision stay focused on your dream remember, it is OK to dream, but don’t stay too long in your fantasies long live Dr. Martin Luther King.”
At his inauguration on Monday, Trump promised to take back the Panama Canal, end birthright citizenship and implement stronger border control including emergency measures at the southern border.
On Sunday, The Power 30 Awards, an inauguration party sponsored by TikTok, celebrated influencers who supported U.S. President-elect Donald Trump. The event, held on January 19, 2025, in Washington, D.C., featured notable attendees such as rapper Waka Flocka Flame, athlete Riley Gaines, social media influencers Debra Lea and Terrence K. Williams, former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss, and GOP Youth Advisory Council co-chair CJ Pearson. Guests displayed pro-Trump accessories and TikTok-branded items, highlighting the platform’s involvement in promoting the event.
Meanwhile dancehall singer Ishawna attended the inauguration event at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC. The Equal Rights Singer posted on Instagram, “Presidential Inauguration 2025🇺🇸❤️ Such an honor to witness this historical moment🥹
