Jay Z was in an unusually candid form on Tuesday evening during a Twitter space with Alicia Keys, who is promoting her latest and final album in her current record deal with RCA records “Keys”.
The Hard Knock Life rapper gave comments about everything from Jadakiss Verzuz Battle to whether Jewelry in Hip Hop Culture.
He said “That’s one of the best performances of the year.” In reference to Jadakiss’s annihilating performance of Verzuz against Dipset.
As for whether he would do a Verzuz battle the take over MC said, “No one can stand on that stage with me. It’s not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage with me.”
He also took timeout to comment on his wife Beyoncé’s place in history and why she is the greatest.
He said she “is gonna be one of the best singers we ever heard because she is such a student.”
Although he said no one could test him in a Verzuz battle he seem ready to put on a cultural performance if he is found a show as relevant as Coachella aka Beychella, where his wife gave a show stopping “formation” performance in 2018.
“Find me a concert that’s as culturally relevant and thrilling as Coachella.”
The father of 3 also expressed pride seeing his fists daughter Blue doing “Blue Freestyle”
“By the way, that was a proud moment for me.”
