The November 2018 track “Solo” by Jennie from BlackPink has surpassed 900 million views on YouTube. She becomes the first solo female K-pop artist to reach that milestone according to an announcement by her agency YG Entertainment on Monday.
Overall Blackpink now has seven videos on YouTube that have surpassed the 900 million mark, with their top song being “Ddu-Du Ddu-Du” (2018) earning 2 billion views.
Their other songs “Kill This Love” (2019) has 1.7 billion views, “Boombayah” (2017) i 1.5 billion views, “As If It’s Your Last” (2017) has 1.2 billion views and the “How You Like That” music video and practice video both surpassing 1.2 billion views.
