Within 24 hours the Pirates Of The Caribbean star reached 13 million followers after joining the social media app on Monday (6 June).
His new love audience on social media comes days after winning a multimillion-dollar defamation suit against his ex-wife Amber Heard. His biography on the platform reads: “Occasional Thespian.”
With his victory secured, Johnny posted a reggae music soundtracked reel of recent happenings in his life including scenes from outside the court as well as behind the scenes of his most recent live music performance.

The music chosen by the 58-year-old actor for his TikTok reel is Love Joy’s Stranger, from the 1982 album Lovers Rock Reggae Style. Love Joy is a now defunct 1980s British all female roots reggae band. With the post getting over 35 million plays so far and 4000 videos, Love Joy’s music is back in the minds of Gen Z and Millennials.
Johnny himself took the stage with Jeff Beck on last week (June 2) in Gateshead, England, where they also announced a new album coming in July. He and Beck also performed in May.
Beck explains how much their friendship has meant to him as he made the announcement. “I’m going to take this opportunity to tell you that I met this guy five years ago and we haven’t stopped laughing since,” he said in fan-footage of the concert. “We actually made an album. I don’t know how it happened. It will be out in July.”
On Sunday (5 June), the pair closed Varanasi restaurant in Birmingham to the public, as they were reportedly joined by 20 other friends to share a meal that racked up a bill of approximately £50,000.
On Tuesday (7 June), Depp posted the single TikTok video on his page, thanking his fans for their support.
He praised them as “treasured, loyal and unwavering” over clips of him playing his guitar on stage and greeting fans outside of the courthouse where the trial unfolded in Fairfax County, Virginia.
“We have seen everything together. We have walked the same road together,” said the Blow Star.

Last week, the jury shared their verdicts following a highly publicized six-week trial, finding that Heard had defamed Depp on all three counts.
The jury found that Heard defamed Depp on all three counts and awarded him $10m (£8m) in compensatory damages and $5m (£4m) in punitive damages. Heard was awarded $2m (£1.6m) in compensatory damages, but no punitive damages.
Heard’s attorney recently appeared on morning talk shows to say that her client would be unable to pay the $8.35m (£6.65m) in damages to Depp.
Throughout the trial Depp was seen singing Marley classics.
According to a Radar Online, Depp and his legal team pulled up to court blasting “Movement of Jah people…” from Exodus by Bob Marley from the car’s speakers as his fans shouted “love you.”
