Ye formerly Kanye West is reportedly concerned that his former personal trainer, Harley Pasternak, is following him in Dubai, sharing the same hotel. There are suspicions about Pasternak’s motives, given their history, including a past threat to institutionalize West last year after he made comments about going Def Con on Jewish people.
The Yeezy shoes designer and Pasternak have a complex relationship, with West attributing his 2016 hospitalization to being misdiagnosed and nearly drugged, a claim Pasternak disputes in a recent interview where he also shared peculiar details about West’s behavior during that time.
According to the Daily Mail, Pasternak is currently in Dubai and staying at the same hotel as West and his children. While West has not commented on Pasternak’s presence, a source expressed concerns about the situation, deeming it “extremely suspect.” The source stated, “We have grave concerns as to what this creepy operative is doing in Ye’s hotel. The timing is extremely suspect. We are very concerned indeed about his motives and intentions. This is the man who threatened to ‘drug Ye to Zombieland.’ Why has he suddenly shown up here?”
The history between Kanye West and Harley Pasternak goes beyond fitness, with the rapper hospitalized in 2016 after an alleged psychotic break at Pasternak’s Hollywood home. West was subsequently diagnosed with bipolar disorder but has contested the diagnosis, claiming a misdiagnosis. Last year, West leaked alleged text messages from Pasternak, revealing a threat to have him institutionalized with medication.
Pasternak, who worked previously in the Canadian military Department of National Defense in a recent interview with The New York Times, made further claims about West’s mental health, recounting witnessing the rapper writing Bible verses on bedsheets and drawing spaceships with a Sharpie during his 2016 breakdown. Additionally, Pasternak claimed West was packing suitcases full of pots, pans, and Tupperware during that time.
Last year West leaked text messages of since deleted screenshots online where the Jewish trainer allegedly texted threats saying, we can talk or “Second option, I have you institutionalized again where they medicate the crap out of you, and you go back to Zombieland forever. Play date with the kids just won’t be the same.”
