Dj Effen and Nore’s Drink Champs premiered a conversation with Kanye West on Revolt TV on Friday. In the almost two and a half hours conversation, Ye offloaded several verbal missiles aimed at the “people around his wife”,Hulu and E!, he spoke on his fued with Drake, Talib Kwali, calls fellow ‘Blueprint’ producer Just Blaze a “copycat”, he took aim at SRC Records founder Steve Rifkind and berated his two formerly signed artists Big Sean and John Legend.
In the candid conversation which saw Ye at times laughing at his own punchline thoughts, he claims that John Legend and Big Sean were used by the democratic party to detract and suppress his chances in the 2020 election for President.
“I am saying that the worst thing I have ever done was signed Big Sean” as host Nore obliviously claps for his comments he reiterates “The worst, the worst”.
He spoke more seriously, “I know this man momma bro, I changed this man family and both John Legend and Big Sean when I ran for office got used quick by the Democrats to come at they boy that actually changed they life”.
“And that’s some sellout shit and I don’t rock with neither of them and I need my apology” The Wait Till I Get My Money Right singer.
Legend had sent out a series of tweets seemingly countering Kanye’s campaign for president three years ago.
I love that great, brilliant artists have the power to imagine a better future. But artists can't be blind to the truth.

However, Ye’s latest comments are a departure form his previous tweets about John Legend who had also publicly supported the democratic party. In 2018 he tweeted that he appreciates John’s difference of opinion but that he will stand his ground.

he tweeted out a text message conversation with the get Lifted singer then followed up with an appreciation post.
Later in the conversation on Drink Champs the Yeezy Billionaire doubled back on his thoughts to add more political narrative.
“With Sean and John, Pusha voted for Kamala(Harris) and we ain’t never seen her since the election either, they got 94 % of the black female vote you woulda thought Drake was running. He quipped.
“Pusha didn’t come out and outright diss me to the public…” he compared.
He then singled out John Legend again who he met through a college roommate in the early 2000s. “John legend he sound so white like ‘the rapper the rapper”, I’m like where is God in this conversation cause if you don’t work for God then you working for the devil.”
In speaking about his love for Dame Dash Kanye took aim at Steve Rifkind who he said made unsavory comments to the effect of “Dame being in his pocket”.
“White boy don’t ever speak on me and Dame, don’t ever speak on our situation, on me taking care of the man who put me on..not everybody gonna make the money you got a community you gonna have people who figure out to earn…so Dame (Damion Dash) never have to work again”, the self professed multibillionaire said.
In a more positive light Kanye gave props to Beanie Sigel who he said gave him the name Yeezy during his early days as a producer.
“I still owe Beanie money and I been trying to give him this money for a minute…cause he made up the name Yeezy”
“He used to call me Yeezy..that was Beanie’s name for me when I was at Bassline(studios)”.
