Kevin Hart’s recent revelations about his strained relationship with Michael Jordan have garnered significant attention. During his “Acting My Age” tour stop in Atlantic City, the 45-year-old comedian opened up about the origins of their “beef.”
Hart, known for his sharp humor, recounted a specific incident that soured their relationship. He was hosting a celebrity event for the six-time NBA champion when Jordan arrived late. Hart couldn’t resist making a joke at Jordan’s expense as he entered, leading to a lasting grudge.
“Michael’s had an attitude with me for years because I hosted a celebrity event for him, and he came in late,” Hart explained. “I saw him coming in late and hit him with a quick joke. It was all in fun, but it clearly struck a nerve.”
A Daily Mail source said this incident marked the last time the two spoke. Hart noted that Jordan gave him an attitude after the event, leading to their falling out. Despite the tension, Hart remains unbothered by the situation.
“I don’t give a sh*t,” Hart stated. “I could care less. I can f**king care less. At 45, little things don’t matter to me anymore. I’m not the same person I once was,” Hart said.
Hart has touched on their tension before, notably during a 2016 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where he shared another humorous exchange with Jordan over his high-waisted pants at a charity event in Las Vegas. “I was like, ‘Man, what age do you get to where it’s OK to wear your pants that high and nobody addresses it?’” he recalled. “‘You’re telling me I’m the only one that thinks Mike’s pants are past the legal limit for waist?’”
Hart says although Jordan has created distance between him, he still admires the NBA MVP’s legacy.
“He’s still my favorite player,” Hart admitted. “If I see him again, I’m gonna ask him about it. ‘You better lose the ‘tude, Mike.’”

Hart old Extra TV recently that as for the continued feud with Jordan, “comedy is comedy,” and audiences will have to come to his “Acting My Age Tour” to discover what else he has to say in a more edgy way. “I want the world of discovery to be just that… it’s a little raw,” he said.
