Najeerii and Kraff Gad Are No. 1 On Jamaica’s Apple Music & YouTube Charts

Emerging artists Najeerii and Kraff Gad are dominating the YouTube and Apple Music charts in Jamaica this week.

‘Rum Behavior’ by Kraff Gad has risen to No. 1 on YouTube Jamaica weekly chart after 8 weeks on the chart. The song produced by TheBuduDem/Zimi Records X Now Or Never earned 325,607 in the island for the week ending September 28, 2023 pushing Skeng’s ‘Sha La La (Sunday Mawnin)’ to the No. 2 spot after five weeks at No. 1.

The music video for ‘Rum Behavior’ released August 3, 2023 was filmed by Aka Ruppie/Shane Creative one a beach in Jamaica with several bikini clad female dancers alone with Kraff requesting that they “Get mad” for him has surpassed 3 million views globally on YouTube.

Skeng’s Sha La La (Sunday Mawnin)’ earned 298,519 additional streams, a reduction of 18,444 over the last week.

Meanwhile ‘Paddle Boat’ by Najeerii dips one position to No. 3 after spending 13 weeks on the chart and peaking at No. 1 for 2 weeks. “Paddle Boat” is also the No. 1 song on the Jamaican Apple Music Daily Chart for the entire week and his second song on the chart ‘Panton’ is at No. 2 on Apple Music and number four on YouTube. Having achieved the top spot once, this track has displayed longevity, remaining on the chart for 14 weeks on YouTube.

Pablo YG’s “Rich N Richer” makes a notable jump this week, ascending two positions to secure the fifth spot. With ten weeks on the chart, this track continues to gain traction, accruing an additional 11,011 streams compared to last week.

450’s “Cold Streets” experiences a significant drop in position this week, falling three spots to number six. Despite the drop, the song’s three-week presence and one peak position demonstrate its impact.

Alkaline makes a new entry on the chart with “Mad Luv,” securing the seventh position.

Producer Ireland Boss’ ‘V6’ with Mallie Don holds steady at number eight with. This track’s remarkable feat of reaching the top spot seven times highlights its sustained popularity in Jamaica, even after 25 weeks on the chart.

Chronic Law’s ‘Area 51’ drop of three positions this week but continues to maintain a presence in the top ten.

Rounding off the top ten is Byron Messia ‘Talibans’ at No.10 (Weeks on Chart: 25) Peak Position: 2 (x2) Total Streams this week: 184,810 (-4,268).
