Lila Iké just told everyone to stop playing tough and catch feelings. And guess what? Jamaica did.

The soulful songbird finally secures her first-ever No. 1 on YouTube Jamaica with “Romantic,” a sweet-and-steamy slow-burner featuring Masicka, that had a week a YouTube ads interrupting viewers and had us all in our feels, streaming like we just got dumped. With 556,759 views in her first week, Lila slid past the pack and straight to the top spot — no prenup necessary, just royalties paid to Patra for interpolation of the 30 year old Romantic Call.

Meanwhile, Valiant is clearly in love too — or at least his fans are for the summer. His emotional song “Passenger Princess” flew six spots to No. 2 with 537K+ streams, probably driven by soft men everywhere crying in traffic because the song also tops Apple Music Jamaica.

Masicka fumbled the bag (or maybe just took a sexy nap) as “Rich Sex” dropped to No. 3, though still clocked a juicy +152K bump. What can we say — sex sells, but love sells better this week.

Newcomers Take the Elevator, Not the Stairs
Qyor pulled a double whammy with “The Life” and “Better Days” at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively — both debuting with more optimism than your ex’s Instagram quotes. He also pulled off the rare 4-entry flex with two more tracks (“Miss You” and “Big Heart of Love”) re-entering like they forgot their charger.

Also new to the party:

JC Lodge beamed in from Dubland with “Signal Dub Mix” at No. 7, proving that good things happen when OGs remix in peace.
ASCE AA SPADE makes a bold first impression at No. 12 with “Bike Back”, which might be a song about motorcycles… or not.
antuwang (not a typo) shows up at No. 13 with “Energy Up”, probably drinking 5 Red Bulls a day.

Najeeriii, king of Gen Z chaos, drifts in at No. 18 with “Cloud Nine,” because sobriety is so 2024.

tgIn the Fall-Back Section:
Moliy’s once-unstoppable “Shake It To The Max” (remix version, please don’t forget) finally shook its way down to No. 10 after five spins at No. 1. R.I.P. to those dance challenges.

Jamal drops 10 spots to No. 20 with “No Doubts”, which now has some serious doubts about its chart future.
Also, shoutout to A!MS & Hypertone, climbing 9 spots to No. 8 with “Light & Love” — officially this week’s “wait who are they?” success story.

Final Thought:
With Romantic at No. 1, Lila Iké has gone from underground favorite to full-blown chart gyal, breaking through with that rare reggae-meets-feelings combo that makes both Rastas and R&B heads cry in the shower. Who says love is dead?

Let’s see if she can hold the throne next week or if Valiant is ready to Princess-cut her off the top spot.
