Live Nation Entertainment — parent company of Ticketmaster and the world’s largest concert promoter — reported another record-breaking quarter, with third-quarter revenue climbing to $8.5 billion, up from $7.65 billion a year earlier.

CEO Michael Rapino credited “strong fan demand” for the company’s growth, noting that global ticket sales for 2026 have already reached 26 million, representing a double-digit increase in both large venue bookings and sell-through rates.

Reggae and Dancehall at the Forefront

This surge comes as Live Nation expands aggressively into Caribbean genres, promoting some of the biggest reggae and dancehall concerts of 2025 — including Vybz Kartel’s arena shows in the U.S. and the U.K., and his inclusion on the Wireless Festival lineup.

Shaggy and Sean Paul also took on North America and Europe with Pitbull and Ashanti respectively with promotion from Live Nation.

With these shows drawing international audiences and record ticket sales, reggae and dancehall have become vital pillars in Live Nation’s global festival strategy, alongside pop, Latin, and Afrobeats.

Despite economic headwinds, Rapino said the company is “attracting more fans to more shows globally” and expects momentum to continue through 2026, driven by immersive live experiences and fan spending on premium packages, merchandise, and festival add-ons.

Live Nation’s concert division generated $7.28 billion in the third quarter, while ticketing revenue hit $797.6 million, both exceeding analyst projections.

As the world’s dominant live entertainment player — and now a major backer of reggae and dancehall events — Live Nation’s success signals the growing global demand for Caribbean culture on the biggest stages.
