Brazilian artist Ludmila, known for sparking social media discussions with her onstage kisses with her wife and top streaming latin songs is in Jamaica to shoot a music video for her song TIC TAC with dancehall superstar Sean Paul.
The singer-songwriter who rose to fame with the song “Fala Mal de Mim” (“She Speaks Ill of Me”) had announced a September 30 released date for the song a week ago via her instagram.

TIC TAC is produced by dancehall deejay/producer Delly Ranks(Red Bull & Guinness) and multiplatinum producer Topo La Mascara.
Ludmilla who used to go by the stage name “MC Beyoncé” has the distinction of being the first Black Latin-American female musician to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. Sean’s manager Steve Urchin who was on the music video set posted on Ludmilla’s instagram on Thursday, “Was so great to finally meet u! #Obrigado!!!!”
The Warner Brazil artist released her studio album Numanice #2 on August 23 and in less than 24 hours it was streamed a million times.
“It’s beautiful to see this project reached so many people, even more beautiful is to see you hugging and singing these songs that came out of my heart. I have been following the entire launch closely and I am very happy and proud to have insisted that it happen. I think we can’t even imagine ourselves without Numanice anymore”, Ludmilla said about the album’s reception.
She previously collaborated with Mr. Vegas on the song Socadona which currently has 52 million YouTube views.
Two years ago Bahian group ÀTTØØXXÁ announced during a live interview that there was a musical partnership in the making with Major Lazer , Sean Paul and Ludmilla. That track is yet to be released but Sean previously collaborated with another Brazilian star Anitta, back in 2019 on the track “Fuego” with DJ Snake.
Sean Paul’s single Mad Love with David Guetta featuring becky G from Sean’s first Ep Mad Love the Prequel is certified gold in Brazil. It’s his only certification in that country.
