Sean Paul‘s debut EP “Mad Love: The Prequel” released by SJ Productions and Island Records has sold 337,000 units in sales and on demand streams in the US according to data obtain by WMV from Billboard sales trackers Luminate. This includes 204M album equivalent streams and pure sales of 23,000 copies.
Mad Love is the most successful EP by a Jamaican artist of all time with an all star line up of local and international producers including: Uche Ben, Ebele Banx & Ranx, Obi Fred Ebele, Da Beat Freakz, Jason Jigzagula Henriques, Jack Patterson, Giorgio Tuinfort, David Guetta, 1st Klase, Julian Bunetta, Teddy Geiger, Jr Blender, Boaz van de Beatz, Diplo, Rymez, Donovan Bennett, Sermstyle and Philip Kembo.
Released June 29, 2028, the 9 track set is driven by the top selling pop-dancehall single “No Lie” Ft. Dua Lipa which has 943,302,289 streams on Spotify.
“No Lie” is produced by British producer Jamie Michael Robert Sanderson known popularly as Sermstyle.
The party starter track is the most streamed dancehall song on Spotify globally for the year ending 2022 and it also earned a milestone one billion streams on YouTube.
