Montego Bay, Jamaica – July 25, 2025 — Magnum Tonic Wine turned up the heat this summer by delivering an unforgettable experience to six lucky fans from Trinidad & Tobago and Barbados. The brand brought its signature energy to life with an all-expenses-paid trip to Jamaica for what it dubbed the Ultimate Dancehall Experience — complete with VIP treatment, top-tier accommodations, and front-row access to the island’s biggest music festival, Reggae Sumfest.

The winners touched down at Donald Sangster International Airport on Friday, July 18, where they were greeted with authentic Jamaican hospitality and whisked away to the luxurious Secrets Wild Orchid resort in Freeport, Montego Bay. From that moment, it was clear this was more than just a giveaway — it was a cultural immersion.

“Oh my gosh, I was so excited and honestly a little shocked because I really didn’t expect to win! It all felt so surreal,” said Bajan winner Taitree Suelall, recalling the moment she found out she had won. “The entire trip was perfect from start to finish, and the hotel? Absolutely beautiful and luxurious.”

Throughout the weekend, the guests enjoyed private ground transportation, concierge services, and exclusive Magnum-hosted dinners featuring the finest Jamaican cuisine — from fiery jerk chicken and festival to fresh seafood and tropical fruits.

Their Sumfest journey began on Festival Night 1, where they witnessed the dramatic return of Vybz Kartel, crowned the King of Dancehall. They also got to experience electrifying performances from heavyweights Masicka, Skeng, and Tommy Lee Sparta, all from prime VIP vantage points.

Festival Night 2 the guests were blown away by a live appearance from legendary R&B icon Toni Braxton.

“The crowd, the music, the energy—it was all on another level,” said Sunil Dwarika from Trinidad. “I’d describe it as exciting, intense, and yes, a bit exhausting, but every moment was worth it. Truly a phenomenal experience I’ll never forget.”

Guests also enjoyed premium cocktails from the Campari Group’s full portfolio at the vibrant Magnum-branded bar. But what truly elevated the experience was the magnetic pull of dancehall and reggae in their homeland — a feeling many of the winners described as “pure magic.”

According to Chevanne Lawrence, Channel and Customer Marketing Manager at J. Wray & Nephew (producers of Magnum Tonic Wine), the campaign was designed to do more than give away a trip. “We set out to create a campaign that wasn’t just about going to a stage show. It was about connecting people to the source,” he said. “This Ultimate Dancehall Experience was our way of celebrating the spirit of dancehall and sharing the richness of Jamaican culture with our community.”

He continued, “In the world of entertainment in Jamaica, Magnum and Dancehall are the ultimate pair. It is against this backdrop that we continue to partner with Reggae Sumfest to bring this genre to the world. Reggae Sumfest is not just another festival; it is a celebration of our music and our wider dynamic Caribbean culture.”

With its bold brand presence and deep-rooted support for Jamaican music, Magnum Tonic Wine continues to champion the evolution of Dancehall, helping to preserve and promote the genre across the region and beyond.

For these six winners, it was more than a trip — it was a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of music, culture, and connection that only Magnum could deliver.
