New York Emerges as His Biggest Market Outside the Caribbean
Jamaican dancehall star Masicka performed at Reggae Fest for the first time on July 5, 2025, at Bounty Killer’s return concert.
Since then, he has generated 272 million views on YouTube during the 12-month period from August 10, 2025, to August 10, 2026, according to data obtained from YouTube by World Music Views.
Kingston remained the deejay’s strongest city, accounting for 46 million views. Georgetown, Guyana, followed with 18.4 million, while New York City ranked third with 15.7 million. London placed fourth with 8.95 million views, and Nairobi completed the top five with 6.89 million.
The deejay is set to headline his biggest solo concert in New York City this Saturday, August 15, at Barclays Center, one day after the release of his third studio album, Forever Reign.
His five leading songs collectively generated more than 85 million views during the reporting period, with both solo recordings and collaborations contributing to his performance.
Masicka’s leading song during the period was “Rich Sex,” his collaboration with producer Rvssian, which attracted 31.4 million views. The track finished comfortably ahead of “Whites,” which earned 19.5 million.
“Mute” ranked third with 12.4 million views, narrowly surpassing “Slip & Slide,” Masicka’s collaboration with Di Genius, at 12.1 million. “AUTOCRAT” rounded out the five most-viewed songs with 10.2 million.
Masicka’s daily audience regularly reached hundreds of thousands of views, with several notable surges above one million. His strongest day was December 12, 2025, when his catalogue recorded approximately 1.59 million views globally.
Meanwhile, Masicka has unveiled the official cover art for his third studio album, Forever Reign, set for release on Friday, August 14, 2026.
The artwork presents the Jamaican dancehall star in a dark, cinematic setting, standing beneath a black umbrella as rain pours around him. Dressed almost entirely in black, Masicka wears a sleeveless vest, trousers, dark sunglasses and a patterned scarf, while his jewelry provides sharp flashes of platinum against the shadowy backdrop.
One hand grips the umbrella while the other rests casually the front of his waist, giving the image a calm pseudo-Cowboy look. Masicka stands firmly at its center.
The rain also appears to play directly into the album’s title, Forever Reign, using the visual connection between “rain” and “reign” to reinforce themes of longevity, dominance and remaining standing through difficult conditions.

The project continues Masicka’s album run following 438 and Generation of Kings, with Forever Reign marking his third full-length studio album.
