Masicka makes history as the fist artist to chart 17 songs in the top 20 on Apple Music Jamaica chart, a record previously held by Valiant who charted 5 songs in the top ten a year ago. “Generation of Kings,” Masicka’s major label debut album by is now charting No. 1 in 13 across the Caribbean on Apple Music including Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and The Grenadines, and Turks and Caicos.
Additionally, the album’s clean version rises to No. 2 after a day of its release in Antigua and Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Guyana, Malawi, and Trinidad and Tobago. While in Jamaica, Seychelles, and St. Vincent and The Grenadines it lands at No. 3.
On iTunes, the album secured the top spot in five countries: Antigua and Barbuda, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Grenada, and Saint Kitts and Nevis. It is No. 2 in the Cayman Islands, #8 in Barbados, In the major music markets Masicka joins a short list of dancehall artist to chart in the top 20 in the US on Apple Music daily chart. The album is #12 in the United States, #35 in Canada, #52 in Canada, and #86 in the United Kingdom.
Overall both versions of the album is charting in 44 counties around the world and the track Black Sheep from the album shoots to No. 1 in Antigua and Barbuda, Cayman Islands, Grenada, Saint Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and The Grenadines.
Black Sheep also No. 1 on Deezer Daily charts Jamaica. While Reverse Time in is No. 1 in Jamaica on Apple Music.
Masicka becomes the first dancehall artist to chart two albums on the top ten on Apple Music Jamaica as 438 is No. 6 on the chart.
