Migos Rapper Takeoff Shot And Killed In Houston, He Was 28 Years Old

World Music Views understands that Kirshnik Khari Ball popularly know as Rapper Takeoff, one-third of the Migos, was shot dead early Monday November 1 in Houston Texas. He was 28 years old.
Multiple witnesses and videos circulated online showing the aftermath of the fatal incident which happened after 2:30 AM at a bowling alley called 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston.

TMZ reports that “Takeoff and his group mate Quavo were playing a dice game when an altercation broke out and that’s when someone opened fire, shooting Takeoff … either in the head or near to his head. He was pronounced dead on the scene.”

TMZ Hip Hop has obtained footage from the scene, and you can see Quavo — in an orange shirt — and others gathered around Takeoff. At first they tried to move him, but then put him back down, and Quavo yelled for someone to get help.
Police tells TMZ that 2 other people were shot and were taken to the hospital in private vehicles. It’s unclear what their conditions are. Quavo was not injured.
Takeoff joins a list of rappers and urban artists who have died by violence over the past two years.
Takeoff entered the music indistry after The Migos’ 2013 hit “Versace” went viral and peaked at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Migos achieved their first number one single in 2016 with “Bad and Boujee” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, peaking on the Billboard Hot 100 during the week of January 21, 2017. The song is now certified four times platinum in the US by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). While he can be seen in one of the background scenes in the music video, Takeoff is not featured nor credited on the song.
