Ghanaian breakout artist Moliy has secured the top spot on YouTube Jamaica for another week with her summer hit “Shake It To The Max (FLY) [Remix]/” The remix, with Silent Addy featuring Shenseea and Skillibeng which has been dominating dance floors, social media and playlists alike, makes a triumphant return to No. 1, for six nonconsecutive weeks at the summit since its release March 15, 2025.
The World Music Views YouTube Jamaica Chart was established in 2018 and is powered by streams on YouTube across all official releases.
“Shake It To The Max (FLY) [Remix]” is now a global sensation, also clinching the #1 spot on Apple Music in Belize and the Cayman Islands, and a stunning six #1 positions on Shazam, including #1 in the United States and worldwide. The Afro-dancehall song is resonating across continents, charting on Spotify in 25 countries, including Austria, Germany, the UK, and Canada, and ranking as high as #125 on Spotify’s global chart. On Apple Music, the song continues to climb in over 50 countries, notably hitting the top 10 in Trinidad and Tobago, The Bahamas, and the UK. Meanwhile, it has also made an impact on iTunes charts in the US, UK, France, and Bermuda.
Subsequently, Shenseea makes history with 12.1 million monthly listeners on Spotify — the highest ever for a Jamaican female artist powered by the success of her feature on the remix which gets more than 1 million daily streams. Despite its global streaming success, the song is yet to hit the coveted Billboard Hot 100 Airplay charts on the U.S.
Back on YouTube Jamaica, Bandit 7teen, slips to No. 2 with the viral banger “Cheese in Jeans,” which held the top spot last week. The young artist isn’t done, though—his new entry “Been a Bang” enters at No. 4, signaling growing momentum and making himself one to watch on the list of the year’s breakout stars.
Maintaining its spot at No. 3 is the energetic collaboration “8:00 PM” by Armanii featuring Malie Donn, a track that continues to resonate with local audiences and boasts multiple weeks near the top of the chart.
Jamaican trap-fusion artist Jamal drops one position to No. 5 with “999,” but continues to show consistency across the charts with another track, “Ballandor,” still holding strong at No. 17 after 35 weeks.
Vybz Kartel, the ever-dominant dancehall heavyweight, stands steady at No. 6 with “God Is The Greatest,” while Squash and Malie Donn hold down No. 7 and No. 8, respectively, with “Know Bout Dat” and “Body Tea.”
Another debut worth noting is Areakode’s “Level Up” at No. 9—a promising start that suggests a rising demand for his music. Meanwhile, Bayka’s “Rajah Wild Freestyle”, despite some issues with content access (noted as “Needs Whitelist”), stays inside the top ten at No. 10.
Elsewhere on the chart, veteran gospel singer CeCe Winans sees a notable jump to No. 11 with “Come Jesus Come,” a rare but growing presence of faith-based music in the Jamaican digital space. Skippa, Kraff Gad, and Protoje all maintain spots within the top 15, showing the blend of lyrical rap, conscious reggae, and experimental dancehall currently dominating local ears.
Newcomers Staggy YBC, Ding Dong (with “Skate”), and DJ MAC (with “My Type”) also make fresh entries this week, rounding out a dynamic and diverse chart.
